Cervical Cancer Prevention Week
CAMO is launching an awareness and prevention campaign for cervical cancer this week in Honduras. We are committed to informing, educating, and promoting the importance of early detection and timely treatment of this disease that affects so many women.
During this week, we have prepared a series of activities focused on providing vital information about the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. Informational talks will be held in the public health center, addressing topics such as the importance of early detection, risk factors, prevention methods, and the benefits of our health programs for the well-being of women in the area.
One of the main activities planned for this week is the performance of cervical cytologies for early detection of cervical cancer.Highlighting our commitment to community health, our Pathology laboratory processes an average of 925 results weekly.
This effort will reach women throughout the western region, ensuring that more people have access to prevention and early detection services.
At CAMO, we are firmly committed to prevention and the well-being of our women. We take pride in leading this important initiative and working together in the fight against cervical cancer.
